Director: Rajshree Ojha
Cast: Abhay Deol, Sonam Kapoor, Cyrus Sahukar, Arunoday Singh, Ira Dubey, Amrita Puri, Lisa Haydon
Producer: Anil Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor.
Firstly, the story of Aisha is copied from the Novel Jane Austin’s popular novel Emma. The only change is the director has just changed the look and gives a desi effect to the same story with just a little change.
Sonam Kapoor (Aisha) plays the main role in the movie. Aisha plays the role of a Matchmaker which she takes her as hobby and does it passionately. She interferes in very ones business without their permission. Abhay Deol (Arjun) is a simple guy, he don’t like Aisha interfering in others business.
Aisha leads as a leader for the three girls I the movie and she want to find a match for them.the movie mainly deals with this concept for the whole 2 hours 15 minutes. In the first hour, all the characters interact with each other this has been covenant correctly lead by the director. Aisha has good and refreshing music by Amit Trivedi who has recently given music for 2009 first hit movie Dev D. Sonam give the life for the whole Movie. Sonam Kapoor has become a versatile actress. her stunning looks and her costumes are excellently shown in the movie. The movie mainly has clear description of Sonam Kapoor talent.
Aisha and Arjun is childhood friend of Aisha. The story starts when one day Aisha meets a small town girl Shefali (Amrita Puri) in a party who has no idea of fashion, Aisha has already said interfere in her life and she tries to change Shefali as her and find a match Randhir (cyrus) . But Randir like Aisha but she just ignores him, the movie starts with lot of confusion and misunderstanding.
As the Story moves, Shefali starts loving her old friend Saurabh (Anand Triwari). Arjun love Aisha but Aisha thinks that he has an affair with her Secretary Aarti (Lisa Haydon). Further Aisha’s close friend Pinky (Ira Dubey) comes into picture and start loving Randir. And the movie continues futher with Arjun’s confusion that Aisha has an affair with Dhruv Singh (Arunoday Singh). At the end every confusions is solved and each one of them gets their match.
The director Rajshree Ojha doesn’t used any new concept in the movie, the same old love story which we have see many times. The story is weak point in the movie which can be easily predicted.
Sonam Kapoor performance is exceptionally good. Her elegant looks may the movie watchable. Abhay Deol is good, and all other actors have given their hundred percent. Mainly Cyrus and Shefali are endearing.
Aisha comes with good music and also with high-quality performance of the actors, the title track and Gal Mitthi Mitthi tracks are good and have hits the charts.
Aisha is purely a teenage movie; the young crowd will enjoy this movie. I just you to watch this movie if you are fond of love stories.

suppose a project like this will only befit one of their own in taking on the starring role as the titular Aisha, or shall you say the Hindi version of Jane Austen's Emma, directed by Rajshree Ojha.If anything, she shows that she's quite the clotheshorse here with, I think, almost every scene seeing her decked out to the nines in designer togs, and carrying them off very well on her lithe frame. Strictly for those with Emma fetish and want to compare across all versions and variations. In some ways the film becomes an advertising feature for the various fashion houses and labels that Aisha endorses, and becomes like a huge product placement during one of the montage sequences.
Aisha is a 2010 Hindi language romantic comedy film directed by Rajshree Ojha and starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhay Deol in the lead roles. The film was released on 6 August 2010. The film is a modern day adaptation of the 1815 British novel, Emma by Jane Austen, a 'comedy of manners' set in the upper class society of Delhi, India.
Story: Aisha Kapoor (Sonam Kapoor) is the quintessential uptown girl from super rich South Delhi. She's smart, sassy and intelligent and spends her time with usual cosmo concerns: animal rights, art exhibitions, weekend getaways, polo matches, shopaholic sprees....But more than all this, her pet obsession seems to be matchmaking.
After having found a suitable match for her aunt, she now wants to pair off her newfound friend, downmarket, small town-ish Shefali Tiwari (Amrita Puri), to Randhir Gambhir (Cyrus Sahukar), the man who actually is all eyes for Aisha alone. But before she can do that, she must transform the Haryanvi behenji into an uber chic style diva like herself. Indeed, a difficult project that gets even more tough because childhood buddy, Arjun Burman (Abhay Deol), seems hell-bent on scuttling all her `new projects' and censuring her `social work' as meddlesome mess. Aisha (Sonam Kapoor) is a spoilt brat who arranges love for her friends. Arjun (Abhay Deol) tries to stop her from involving herself into other people’s personal lives. Can love be arranged or will Aisha change herself when the love-bug finally hits her? Watch Aisha to find out.
