Introduction
Nokia as come up with a new X series. With two new models X3 and X6. The X3 model is less magnificent with than X6. But this model X3 appeals to people who are looking out for Xpress music in an affordable price. But X6 come with large features such as full touch screen, with 3g and navigation.

Design & construction
The X3 is habitual slide phone design. The size of the phone is very compact when compared with X6, the phone slides up slickly with a clicking sound. The phone when closed can be simply held in hand. X3 has a fully lustreless finish.

X3 offers you three music dedicates keys which help you to access the music playback option easily. Below the display you have five keys which are well spaced out.

There is a volume control keys and camera shutter key at the sides. On the left side of X3 you can find the micro SD card slot. This has a plastic flap.

On the top you can find 3.5mm headphone jack, the micro USB port and the charging port. This phone unlike X6 can be charged using USB port. The X3 had two speakers one at the top and other at the bottom. At the back you have 3.2 mega pixels camera which is the best feature at this price.

Display And Keypad
X3 has a large 2.2 QVGA TFT LCD with 262k colours. The quality of the display is not good .The phone lacks the brightness adjustment feature. The keypad is worst feature of this phone. The volume key is very tiny. Even the camera shutter key is too slim. The above five keys have no problem they are spacious.

UI & Applications
The operating system used is Nokia’s S40.The phone when compared to latest technology and applications lacks behind. The phone doesn’t support minimization of java applications that run at the same time. Even the phone doesn’t have very impressive built-in applications also.
Connectivity

The Nokia X3 for connectivity provides GPRS, Bluetooth v2.1, USB 2.0, but no 3G which has become a trend today.
The call quality is good, the loudspeaker is powerful. The web browser is the same as that of old Nokia models. Even it fails to give opera mini application.

Multimedia
X3 comes with a special feature of 3.2 megapixel camera. The model does not provide the flash or even autofocus. The camera resolution is good but this camera can be used in only day time because of the lack of autofocus.

The X3 is completely a music phone. It support all the major music formats. It has 3.5mm audio jack which helps you to connect to any speakers inputs. The audio quality is superb, X3 output is loud and sound quality is great. Its support even the wireless FM feature.
