If the uninstaller doesn't actually uninstall Bitcasa, how can we scrub it from our system? .Here are the steps to remove it completely from Windows 7:


Uninstall the application from the Control Panel
kill the bitcasa application from the Task Manager2
delete the bitcasa folder (com.bitcasa.Bitcasa) from C:\Users\{User}\AppData\Roaming\3
delete the bitcasa folder (bitcasa) from C:\Program Files4
open the Registry Editor (Start / Search / Regedit)
search for every instance of "bitcasa" by hitting CTRL+F (and F3 for every subsequent search)
delete the damned registry key
restart the system to make sure that the software is actually gone (no login screen, no application)
check the Task Manager for Bitcasa just in case
